Disparate teams and processes Challenge

Like many producers, Puig’s product development process relied on separate solutions. This partition between systems created information silos and make it necessary to find a way to facilitate better collaboration between teams.

Puig relies on several teams, including researchers, manufacturers, and packaging, to deliver innovative products that stimulate the customer’s senses. The beauty and fashion leader found gaps in workflow, all caused by operating in multiple systems.

A single source of truth Solution

In 2010, Puig unified its product lifecycle management process by moving to Trace One Devex PLM. Integrating all project monitoring processes into a single tool, teams could now share information and streamline development. The user-friendly interface meant multiple tasks could be completed without opening additional sessions.

With built-in regulatory and safety calculations, Devex was able to support Puig’s compliance needs.

As of 2020, Puig has upgraded to the latest version of Devex to achieve enhanced user experiences with modern and intuitive UI. The company also benefits from boosted portfolio and project management, more robust product development and regulatory management.
