New consultations for one substance regarding its harmonised classification and labelling

One new substance subject to consultation

public-consultation-harmonised-classification.jpgA public consultation has been opened by the ECHA for one substance not yet classified in Annex VI of the CLP Regulation. ECHA invites the concerned parties to provide comments on all hazard classes for physical, health and environmental hazards.

The public consultation is as follows:

  • Propiconazole (ISO); (2RS,4RS;2RS,4SR)-1-{[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4-propyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-yl]methyl}-1H-1,2,4-triazole (EC 262-104-4, CAS 60207-90-1) has been submitted by Finland, with a proposed classification of Acute Tox. 4, H302; Skin Sens. 1, H317; Repr. 2, H361d; Aquatic Acute 1, H400 (M-factor = 1); Aquatic Chronic 1, H410 (M-factor = 1).

Public consultations usually last 45 days and in this case consultation for the aforementioned substance has started on the 1st of April 2016, and will close on the 16th of May 2016.
