atp-9-marzo-2018.jpgOn the 19th of July 2016, Regulation (EU) n. 2016/1179 has been published on the Official Journal of the European Union. This regulation, also known as the 9th ATP, updates Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP).

In particular, it modifies the Annex VI of CLP regulation by updating the harmonised classification of 22 substances already listed under Annex VI, and by adding 26 newly harmonised substances to the same Annex. Some of the affected substances are lead and rodenticides.

The 9th ATP has entered into force on March 1st 2018, as defined in article 2 of the same regulation. This regulation is now considered as binding in its entirety, and applicable in all member states, without derogation.
