Canada: New MRLs for 3 Pesticides

The Health Canada Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) published on October 19th, 2015 new MRLs for 3 different pesticides, to ensure a better food safety in Canada.

12 new limits are added for Difenoconazole, after the end of consultation PMRL2015-26, replacing the previous limits with higher ones, for several fruits.

39 new limits are added for Azoxystrobin after the end of consultation PMRL2015-27. Certain MRLs have now replaced previous limits with higher ones, for different species of beans and peas.

One more limit entered into force to the 142 previously existing for Mandipropamid, after the end of consultation PMRL2015-28 for the food commodity Hops (dried), which replace the older limit of 18 ppm with 50 ppm.
