As of July 2015, the new version of labeling reference guide for Customs Union - Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus and Republic of Kazakhstan - is available in RegData® library.

Background


"Food Products Labeling" - Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (TR CU 022/2011) were published in December 2011, and came into force on July 1, 2013.

These Technical Regulations were designed in order to establish uniform requirements for labeling of food products. Their application is mandatory, and they should help ensure free circulation of food products within the Customs Union area.

Customs Union (with Eurasian Economic Commission as its regulatory body) has a market with over 175 million people.
