MOA released the inspection result of veterinary residue in the second half of 2014

The veterinary drug residue monitoring work is conducted across the country according to “veterinary drug management regulation” and “veterinary drug residue monitoring plan in livestock and livestock products in 2014”, the result as below,

General

  • A total of 7087 batches of livestock and poultry products is inspected in the second half of 2014. There are 9 kinds of tissues inspected, including chicken meat, chicken liver, chicken eggs, beef, milk, sheet meat, pig meat, pig liver, pig urine. There are 24 kinds of veterinary drugs inspected, including diclazuril, Dimetridazole /metronidazole and its metabolites, fluoroquinolone, sulfa, diethylstilbestrol, chloramphenicol, hydroxyl pyridine chloride, monica oxazine residual marks, tetracycline, tylosin, tilmicosin, nitrofurans metabolites, beta lactam, abamectin, aminoglycoside, dexamethasone, thiamphenicol, Lincosamide, macrolides, beta agonists, assimilation hormone, ceftiofur, kappa oxygen residual marks and olaquindox residual marks. The sample source cover 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities except Tibet.
  • A total of 250 batches of bee product is inspected. There are 6 kinds of veterinary drugs inspected, including chloramphenicol, sulfa, fluoroquinolone, nitro imidazoles, nitrofurans metabolites and tetracycline.


Inspection result

  • In the total 7087 batches of livestock and poultry product inspected, 7085 batches is qualified, the pass rate is 99.97%. The unqualified product is 2 batches of pig meat product, the exceeded vet drug is sulfadimidine.
  • In the total 250 batches of bee product inspected, 236 batches is qualified, the pass rate is 94.4%.
