On February 11, 2015, the 11th session of directors’ meeting of the first National Committee for the Review of food safety standards was held in Beijing.
The deployment of 2015 food safety standard work is listed as below.
- Food safety standards integration work this year should be completed according to the lawful, scientific and rational principle.
- Take a full full consideration on China’s national conditions, continuously improve the standard quality to better meet the needs of the food safety control.
- In the process of standards draft and revision, make sure to take public opinions and under the principle of open and transparency.
- Increase the implementation effort of food safety standards.
The meeting reviewed the work report of integration of national standards, pesticide residue and veterinary residue standards, and approved the 2014 Annual Report and 304 national food safety standards (including amendments).
