Brazil Proposes to Expand the Monograph List of Active Ingredients for Pesticides

On July 27, 2020, the World Trade Organization (WTO) notified that the Brazilian Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa) has published regular notification draft resolutions that refer to the Monograph List of Active Ingredients for Pesticides.

Among others, changes to the following active ingredients have been proposed: C36 - CIPROCONAZOL (cyproconazole), bifenthrin, B26 - BIFENTRINA (bifenthrin), T14-TIOFANATO-METÍLICO (thiophanate-methyl), T46 - TETRACONAZOL (tetraconazole), C61 - BETA-CIFLUTRINA (beta-cyfluthrin), E26 - ESPIROMESIFENO (spiromesifen), F49 - FLUDIOXONIL (fludioxonil), A02 - ACEFATO (acephate).


Deadline for comments is September 12, 2020.
