The document entails the following key points: Dried or dehydrated chilli pepper and paprika shall be in accordance with section 2.1 for direct consumption; The products to be used as an ingredient in food processing or for repackaging; The chemical and physical requirements of these spices shall comply with Annex 1; Labeling of these products shall comply with the General Standard for the Labelling of Pre-packaged Foods (CXS 1-1985) etc.; The hygiene standards shall follow the provisions of the General Principles of Food Hygiene (CXC 1-1969), and the Code of Hygienic Practice for Low-Moisture Foods (CXC 75-2015).
