The document highlights the following:

  • Use as a nutritional feed additive for all animal species;
  • Production strain nor its recombinant DNA were detected in the final product;
  • The additive does not pose any safety concerns associated with the production strain;
  • The assessment of the additive is considered safe for the targeted species and for the environment;
  • The endotoxin activity of the additive indicates a risk by inhalation for users handling the additive;
  • Requires protection against degradation in the rumen for ruminants and non-ruminant species.
