On January 23, 2020, the European Union (EU) Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) released multiple food alerts on various food commodities:
- Aflatoxins in pistachios (2020.0333) and dried figs (2020.0336) from Turkey;
- Ochratoxin A (in preserved plums from China (2020.0352);
- Salmonella enterica ser. Enteritidis and Salmonella enterica ser. Infantis in chilled whole chicken and chilled chicken cuts from Poland (2020.0350);
