GCC Proposes Maximum Limits for Pesticide Residues in Agricultural and Food Products

On March 02, 2021, the Gulf Cooperation Council's (GCC) Standardization Organization (GSO) scientific opinions issued draft standards on “Maximum Limits of Pesticide Residues in Agricultural and Food Products”.

The document outlines the limits of the parameters of various pesticides and the range of differences in agricultural and food products along with limits and remarks. The proposed regulation shall replace the existing GSO 382/2019 after coming into effect.
