Singapore Adds Maximum Residue Limits for Mercury, Bromate and Mycotoxins in food

On August 11, 2020, the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has published the circular "Maximum residue limits established for mercury, bromate and mycotoxins in food".

The maximum limits for contaminants that is listed under the Food Regulations is updated to include residue limits for mercury, bromate, and mycotoxins in various food commodities and in the food commodities listed in Annex A.

The new residue limits will apply from September 01, 2020.
