On April 04, 2023, the U.S Federal Register published a regulation by the U.S environmental protection agency on “Deltamethrin; Pesticide Tolerances, 40 CFR 180.435, 88 FR 19873”.
- The regulation establishes tolerances in or on Vegetable, legume, pulse, bean, etc.;
- Maximum residue limits on agricultural commodities have been set at 0.07 ppm;
- Toxicological and Dietary profile study indicates the safety of infants and children;
- Short-term and Intermediate-term intake of residues is unlikely to pose a health risk to consumers.
The regulation is effective from April 04, 2023.
