The acquisition fortifies regulatory compliance expertise in new product development and introduction

MILAN, Italy – January 30, 2017 - Earlier this month Trace One, a major global provider of software and services in the areas of product safety, regulatory compliance and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) acquired Prosisoft GmbH. Prosisoft GmbH designs, develops and sells software for the management of hazardous substances and dangerous goods.

Prosisoft GmbH will remain an independent company and continue to enhance its focus on developing its Microsoft Dynamics NAV hazardous substance management module (HSM). The HSM supports stronger integration with business processes relevant to New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) and in particular, regulatory and compliance needs.

“We’re very pleased and excited to be able to strengthen our regulatory and compliance tools for our customers, and to strengthen the relationships with our German speaking customers,” said Trace One CEO Carlo Colombo.

The acquisition results in enhanced functionality in the regulatory and compliance activities across all Trace One products, but especially in its Safety Data Sheets and Labeling software HazEX. It also strengthens Trace One customer support for German-speaking countries across the entire Trace One product suite inclusive of its Product Lifecycle Management software DevEX and its regulatory and compliance software The Trace One Regulatory Compliance.
